What Is ECO4?
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) is a government backed grant for home improvements which is funded by large energy companies in the UK – E.ON, British Gas, EDF, SSE, etc. The scheme aims to increase households’ energy efficiency and tackle fuel poverty. The programme mainly aims to improve houses with the lowest energy efficiency, concentrating on those in energy efficiency bands D to G. Room in Roof Insulation
